It was tough to take pictures because her room is small and really dark but I seriously love it so much. I go in there right now and read her books, I can't wait to snuggle her in there and read to her.
I got her crib from amazon and I love it. I think I only paid $160. It will turn to a toddler bed too when the time comes. I made her bedding too. I wanted it to be more intricate and cute and detailed but I was so over it!I love the way it turned out tho. My mother in law helped me finish the skirt. It was the easiest part of the crib and it took me months to finish it.
My favorite part of her room are the books. I love having them out and a part of her room. Baby books are the sweetest things ever! Sam's sister made us that fox hair clip holder and I love it. I got her diaper bag super cheap and I made that boppy cover and she has the cutest blankets ever! And obviously so much stuff on those shelves but it's all adorable.
Our Bishop and his wife gave us the glider. I wanted one but I didn't want to buy one and she offered to give it to us and I am so thankful for it. I go sit in it almost every day and relax. It's such a precious, special room.
Sam's mom got us the picture frame. It says "Mommy's ready to cuddle, Daddy's ready to play, a precious little baby is on the way." I love it! The pot and plant is from Ikea and the Mary Jane Mocs I got here.
The giant "C" I got at TJ Maxx and the two picture frames my mom found at a garage sale years ago! She bought them for me when I had a little girl so of course when we found out we were having a girl, she was so excited to give them to me. They are so cute and perfect for a nursery.
My sister got us the cutest little fox and Sam's mom got us the tree stump with the beanie baby animals that go inside. My idea was to do her room in girly woodland animals but I just love every thing and it hasn't really gone that way but I still love it. That little white thing that's sitting on the corner is a white noise maker. My friend has one and it's actually used to anyone of any age to help them sleep and it drowns out every noise so we don't have to tip toe around the house and it'll hopefully help her sleep. It's very soothing. I got it from Amazon.
This is my favorite part of her room. I got the changing pad from Amazon and I made the cover for it. Super easy! All the picture frames and mirrors are from TJ Maxx and the dresser is from Ikea. My awesome ward threw me a baby shower out here and most of the women went in and got me a baby monitor. It is awesome. It has wifi so if Sam is at work or someone else is watching her we can log onto our app and check in on her at home. It's pretty cool! The grandparents are already asking if they can log in and check on her. So cute!
(Of course Luka is in the shot. She is obsessed with socks, it's so weird!)
I have loved every single thing we have been given for our girl but this is probably my favorite! They're Stance socks and they're so cute! Like I can't even take them out of the box! Even the box is perfect. I love them, thanks Deb!
Pretty much every thing we have has been hand me downs or I've bought used. We've spent a ton of money on her but its our first child, so we needed a lot more stuff but I'm seriously good with used stuff. And we have some very generous people in our lives and they have spoiled us rotten. It's grand baby #5 on my side and #6 on Sam's side and she's still so so spoiled and so blessed! We cannot wait!
